I have been part of the audience at The Great Vegas Circus taking place in Al Ain where a segment from the show has caught my attention.

They brought in the lions for the obvious entertainment purposes, except it wasn't entertaining nor amusing what I saw. It got me really sad just looking at them and how poorly they seemed to be. The lions appeared weak from the looks of them and the way they walked around. I'm well aware that animals have always been a part of the circus, I'm not against it or anything, but there's a thin line between making them entertaining and torturing them. It wasn't entertaining at all what I saw, the trainer would strike them with the stick every time they wouldn't perform as they should and it was awful to look at because it was so much more hitting than performing. I mean you could tell the lions were trying to resist his power by pushing the stick away each time and roaring at him a couple of times.

It was such an ugly sight to clap for, and for that I refrained.

let's take it upon ourselves to try our best to stop this lion cruelty from carrying through by raising the concern to Al Ain Municipality, because for what it seems like right now we're all becoming part of the problem one way or the other.
