Medford Vocational Technical High School (MVTHS) has been creating Christmas lights for the city of Medford for many years. Students design and create them in class during their senior year. They are then placed on the City Hall building and lit during the lighting ceremony. This year Mayor Burke and city officials have removed all of the decorations, stopped the tradition and are now considering what to do with the lights. Please stop the city from removing history, and one of the most important parts of the HVAC senior class. The craftsmanship and hard work will be removed and the dismay from both past and present classes will run deep. Let's stop it and get the tradition restored.
Medford VOC students were proud to do something for their city. every year in high school i remember them talking about how they repaired or made or fixed lights on the city hall decorations. now if you do not want the old decorations then have the students design and make new ones.
