This is the best adaptation of The Last Tycoon I have ever seen. Excellent writing, directing, acting, and producing. I watch and rewatch season one and wish for more. Unfortunately, Amazon Video didn't know what they had or promote it very well. I read in the trades that Amazon would not continue this wonderful series in favor of "looking for a 'Game of Throne'" when this is so much better.

I loved this show, this should not end like this! There's so much to explore in a new season, so much potential. Its a shame that the great shows always get canceled. Maybe i should cancel my account on amazon prime video if this kind of thing continues...

Just spent two days binge watching this show. It's captivating! Good acting, interesting story, it's one I want to pay attention to. It has class and style. Wish there was more like this!
