Greatest thing to hit cable in years. Beautiful cast and period time piece. So many ways to continue with this story. I’ve watched the full 1st season countless times now and everyone I’ve told about it has done the exact same thing. Good job Amazon

Amazon's "The Last Tycoon" - deserves accolades and many more seasons, ... Such a gorgeous, wonderfully realized adaption of Fitzgerald's unfinished masterpiece. It evokes the hey day of classic cinema and is the best series I've seen in decades.

My parents lived their formative years in the '30s as The Greatest Generation. All the values The Baby Boom generation has is bc of them.
I like the glitz and glamour of that time period not to mention the women's clothes, shoes and hats.
"Gone With The Wind" and "The Wizard of Oz" are 2 of the greatest movies ever made. The greatest modern American artists Fitzgerald, Tennessee Williams and Hemingway give our generation great incite into theirs.
Get a better writers room and tell this story in the tradition of "The Great Gatsby".
