Very sad to see the crèche closed without notice to members. Very much needed to ensure mums can use the facilities (given no reduced rates for mat leave at present).

I was so grateful to have the use of the creche for my 4 and 6 year old over the years. This meant I could do pilates and enjoy the facilities. This is a valuable offering for young parents and grandparente who otherwise would find using their membership hard.

Not everything needs to make a profit - does the billiard area make a profit?? Or the gym?? These are services that bring people to our tennis club. Same as a crèche which is how most young people in this day of both parents working, are able to utilise the club and all its services.

The Kooyong Crèche is an asset that benefits ALL members, including parents and grandparents who will use the crèche now, and also the younger members who will use the crèche as parents in the future.

I utilised this crèche as a member and it was the type of service I would like the Club to maintain to promote inclusivity for female members.
