There could be away to use 1080 but these blanket drops need to stop. If I went and threw poison in a creek I’d get in trouble. How can the government do freely get away with it.

NO TO 1080! How moronic do you need to be. This poison does not have a preference as to who it kills. So targeting a minority just to poison the majority is stupid. There are better ways to utilise funds to eradicate pests. Not only is 1080 poisoning our native animals but it is filtering into our earth, waterways and substantially us. Stop creating more problems.

Me thinks I smell corruption. NZ as a country will go into the history books as the people that killed the last wild Kea along with many more of its rear and unique wildlife. The NZ government has a lot of explaining to do. Bit like Agent Orange do you remember that disaster.
