I just spent the morning rewatching some of my favorite monologue clips and it really brings home why we are doing this because television just feels emptier without that specific energy. I have been drafting emails to the network brass all week and while my inbox is mostly empty I am not planning on stopping anytime soon.

I really enjoy the present Tonight Show and the comedian/host Jay Leno. It leads consistently in the ratings and I would urge NBC to reconsider their decision to relieve him. You would think that the lesson would have been learned with the Conan O'Brian debacle.
Keep Jay Leno. He's great. Why fire a #1 host? Is it ageism?

Jay is the best. Nice reward for being #1 in ratings. Won't watch anymore. Should fire the loser that keeps firing him. PLEASE keep Jay on the Tonight Show. He has been too gentlemanly to the network brass who obviously do not care about the viewers.
NBC is making the biggest mistake again. My family and friends at the Medical Ctr. all watch Jay Leno. A Quality, refreshing show.
Yes, Jimmy Fallon is funny and a good host, but leave things as they are. Jay Leno is still very funny and viable. Who's going to do "Headlines"? I don't think Fallon. That's just one of many things I will miss. That, and the Tonight Show going to the East Coast? Now that's just not right. I'm sorry ahead of time, but that's where all the weirdos live. Once Jimmy Fallon takes over, I'm not watching anymore. He has a nice show, and I think it should be like when Carson retired. Carson gave up the show on his own accord. He wasn't forced out. Too bad you're forcing Jay out. But that's life in the 21st century. No respect for anyone. So have some respect, or I won't be watching your commercials. I figure those are big for you, right? I'm speaking to you that are in charge of insulting our intelligence with your commercial line up. That's it. I've said enough. Goodbye Jay, and goodbye me watching the Tonight Show.
Jay Leno is the most viewed, realistic, entertaining, and the most loved host to ever grab the attention of us who watch him with his funny and humorous ways. The good leaves soon enough, why rush it?

I luv coming home from work and watch Jay he makes me laugh as I am a nurse and have bad nights and Jay can lift my mood tried watching Fallon he just doesn't have it plez plez keep Jay!!! I will go to letterman, Fallon is Boring!!!!
