I just want to encourage EVERYONE to go out and get more signatures. If you need copies of the petition you can pick them up at the EMS Station. My wife and I spent 1.5 hours knocking doors in my neighborhood and got 61 signatures. There were 2 people who said they felt they needed to do more research before they weighed in on the issue. Other than that I got signatures at EVERY SINGLE HOUSE! Our county commissioners need to hear it loud and clear: YOUR CONSTITUENTS DON'T WANT TO SEE THE AMBULANCE PRIVATIZED!!!
They were elected to represent the people, not dictate their own agendas. Make sure they hear your voice. Whether you are for or against privatization, make sure the county commissioners are accountable to the people they represent.

I think we need to keep our local ambulance service. Salt Lakes Gold service is already monopolized other counties and will continue if we don't stop it. As far as the raises I don't know enough to fight that but if our County is suffering don't give yourself a raise. Think of what the counties needs are 1st.
