Our fishing habitat has been rescinded by the Federal Government. We need to have our habitat reinstated.
Two policies presently protect island fisheries. If these policies are changed, then control of our PEI fisheries will be in the hands of big businesses and corporations, which will in turn deprive island fishermen of any control or say in their ability to maintain their livelihood or way of life.

I just woke up and saw the numbers climbing like crazy and I honestly had to sit down for a minute because this feels like the ocean is actually shifting under our feet. It is wild to think about all these people who care about the inshore boats and the families (my own family included) who depend on these waters staying ours.

Stop selling us out to big business. PEI fisheries belong to the people not some company in a boardroom.
Keep the big corps out of our waters. We need to protect the small guys who actually work for a living here on the island.

Ridiculous decision. Leave our fisheries alone. These families have been fishing these waters for generations and they dont deserve this.
