Please reconsider and by all means convert to flats. New Brighton has already lost so much of its architectural history.

It would be more than a shame to demolish such a heritage building and would much prefer to see it converted into apartments.

Leave our old building alone it is our history and should be respected not destroyed . The hotel Victoria was demolished is that not enough ? Leave the character of New Brighton it’s a wonderful place

Sorry to see another historic building under threat. You only have to look at Liverpool and how they regret knocking down the old buildings in 1970/80s.

We live close by and find it hard to park as it is, without extra parking spaces needed, not withstanding the proposed parking facilities to accompany the flats. It does not consider the needs of the community.

I married here 11 years ago, to have such a beautiful hotel destroyed seems so wrong. I want to be able to show my children the building in years to come, no matter what the internal function.....it should remain standing

We need to retain some some of New Brighton's historuc buildings & not end up like yet another faceless town.

As before this application, with very little difference to the previous one, will have a huge impact on residents as parking in and around Albion Street and Victoria Road is at its worst. Parking for train services in this area parked without any thought for disabled or elderly residents, new houses and refurbished flats have encouraged extra parking , especially the new builds on the old Albion motors land, highly inappropriate parking on a bend where in the past has seen many traffic accidents.

I live on Victoria road. There are enough characterless flats that have been built that ruin the architecture of the road as it is without another souless building adding to it.

I certainly don't agree with the demolition of the Hollins Hey Hotel and the proposed 5 story flats.

The planning application takes no account of the existing building's heritage value – which dates from the 1880’s. Alternative options should be explored rather than just tear down such a grand piece of history
