It isn't so unfortunate and disheartening to see this tradition being eliminated. I hope the University reconsiders! Very sad and disappointed.

Some traditions should remain and not be changed. Marketing decisions are not based on tradition!!! Leave the Hokie Pokie as it has been and find something else to change!!!

I've been attending Virginia tech games since I was a little girl and the hokie pokie is a signature way to celebrate the hokie spirit together!

If you keep changing long time traditions eventually you won't have any. These changes that cater to the millennial crowd need to stop. The loud piped in music started all this and it's terrible. No wonder season ticket numbers continue to drop.
