PLEASE keep the Hokie-Pokie during the third quarter break. It's a classic part of VT history. What an awesome, fun spectacle. Younger fans can really identify with it. My grandkids look forward to it at each game.

As a VT graduate, I have taught both my golden retrievers the hokie pokie to keep the tradition alive - AND FUN! - in my home. There's no need to "toughen" the competitive environment by removing a beloved tradition.

The hokey pokey is a lomg standing tradition that should still be there after the band director is long gone!

The Hokie Pokie has been a tradition of Virginia Tech and the Marching Virginians for so long. This is something completely unique to VT, and while a little silly, helps bring all of us together.

This is a disgrace!! Long standing traditions should be saved. This Georgia Hokie is NOT happy

It has the word hokie in it and the other teams love it as well . The cheer they said they were going to do instead they already do during the game anyway. What's next ... are we allowed to still stand and jump when the team comes in ??? HOKIE Alum '01 & '02
