We are the only school worthy to use this song. Why would we stop? Teach the next generation its ok to do something that's been done before.

Do not take the fun out of the game. If you want to honor more people, find another way! The TV time-outs are long and boring; do those extras then but don't take away this wonderful, amazing tradition. Class of 82

No! First, this a tradition older than "Enter Sandman". It is also a moment of jovial fun shared by Hokies and the fans of whomever we're playing that day. It is a moment of unity, something much needed in the divisive times of today. I've heard from many fans of our opponents of how respectful, decent and friendly us Hokies are. Keep the Hokie Pokie!
