The tower is an important part of the park. It would be a shame if it wasn’t rebuilt or restored.

This historic tower is an important icon and which needs repairs to happen NOW. I can’t imagine Door County without it.

The Tower has been on the Wisconsin History & Architecture Inventory since 1991, https://wisconsinhistory.org/Records/Property/HI57082, and therefore requires action to reduce the adverse effect. Wis. Stat. 44.40. The state has not complied with this legal requirement.
