There is so much support for this, I would think we could find a way to do this. If you tear it down, then it is REALLY not accessible to anyone. Build a platform, handicapped would love it!

The Tower was old when I first climbed it, to view my new home. That was in 1997. Every visitor we had climbed that Tower to.share what we had seen that day. Please let it live!

Nothing for anyone does not equate to accessibility. Loss of historical structures does not equate to accessibility. Providing additional panoramic view accesses that can be enjoyed by those with walking challenges are far more accessible than replacing an historic tower with an impossibly long winding parking-ramp-like structure - which might be harder to distance than taking each step at a time on your butt - cannot be the desire of those with mobility issues.
