Please keep supporting HJ studios. It is a fantastic and inspiring place for dancers and teachers. It is vital for a city like Amsterdam to have such a place, where freelance dancers can do their daily training as well as encountering new knowledge through the variety of teachers invited by HJ studios.

We cannot let an art school close. We need them for our development and consequently the growth of a whole society.

I've spend some important time in the early years of me being a dance artist. It allowed me to develop, broaden my horizon, challenge myself beyond what I expected and connect to the large variety of dance artists and artists not only from Amsterdam but from a large networks of artists from of all over the world. This place, should nót close down.

HJS has been essential throughout my dancing career as a freelancer. This in so many ways. Without HJS you lose a place to practise, meet other dancers, get a chance to network, meet choreographers, potential jobs.

this is a necessary part of the artistic ecosystem of Amsterdam - without it, there is no pool of sharp performers for both the vrije scene & the grote instellingen.

This is the only place for professional dancer to be able to stay in shape and keep at the level they desire. I myself was always so happy to be able to go and take classes there. The quality of teachers is one of it's kind in Amsterdam

Please, I'm writing this with great concern: It's not an option to NOT provide the ability for the HJS continue? I have taken classes at HJS since 1994 and have taught at HJS for the past 10 years. No doubt; they have proven to own their craft and to offer and supply a high demand for: quality. It's too important for the arts and dancers from the Netherlands and abroad to have the highest level/professional daily open classes and workshops in the country??? Where else in the Netherlands would and could professional dancers daily train, connect and perform?
