It is such a shame that the Henny Jurriens Foundation Amsterdam is being affected till the point of ending all activities.
This an added signal of the ongoing cultural disruption and the regardless mind for arts in The Netherlands.
What is the country going to do without the dance art in all its extensions of businesses and products?
This is definitively shameless.

Cutting its activity means cutting the life of culture nationally and internationally!

The quality of training offered at HJS is unparalleled in any other major European city. A large reason I moved from London to Amsterdam after graduating from the Rambert School was because the high level and diversity of the teachers was so much greater than at Pineapple or Dance works in London. HJS really is intrinsical to the dance scene in Amsterdam and without it (particularly young) professional dancers will suffer greatly!

Henny Juriens is the only affordable professional dance studio in Amsterdam and absolutely crucial for dance training and education. Without Henny Jurriens I cant imagine the dance scene in Amsterdam thriving in the future!
