The HJS has been at the center of the Amsterdam and international dance community for decades. It is vital to international artistic exchange and the development and continuity of the highest level of professionalism in the Netherlands.

If HJS is forced to close, I fear it's the end of professional dance in Amsterdam. All those dancers you all love from tv video and film? They all to train somewhere. HJS is essential to the dance sector in the Netherlands!

As a professional dancer I have often heard of this studio, which is an iconic place in dance.
Great places to share and exchange between dancers from all over the world!!!! Essential places for the training of dancers from Amsterdam and all over the country. I sincerely hope that the studio can be preserved and that it will be able to offer many beautiful years of dance for everybody.
I share your petition to my friends, artists, dancers, hoping that one day I could come and take classes in this studio.

HJS is a unique institution to support various dancers and therefore hun creations. The roll and function of HJS is not easily visible but indeed important not only for Amsterdam but also for the world.

Yteke Waterbolk

HJS is one of the best dance SCHOOL I know in Europe. All of the work in HJS supports the dance community and provides high quality class for dancers with prices that they can afford to stay in the best shape and in the highest level they could be to attend dance companies auditions and gets job.
If Henny Jurriens School closed, it will impact the dance community and the dancers in Nederlands so badly, that dancers will not be anymore able to work as the same level they used too.
It will impact the quality of the performances, and so the culture economy: because if shows are not so good anymore, people will not go to see permoances anymore...
I can tell too: closing HJS, will impact the dance Europe community.
As a French freelance dancer, HJS is since 7 years, where I still want to go to improve my dance abilities. I KNOW that I am no the only one who comes from abroad to follow the best dance workshops & classes in Europe.
PLEASE PLEASE, SAVE OUR HOME HENNY JURRIENS STUDIO!
