This is an international dance institution that is an essential part of dance training and work for dancers, choreographers, and dance teachers across the world. Training at Henny Jurriëns was crucial in my development as a dancer. It’s closure would be a blow to the international dance community

This place has to stay. Amazing atmosphere and very inspiring teachers and artists. A place absolutely necessary for dancers to keep on growing, connecting and finding joy in a (sometimes tough and lonely) dancer existence.

The HJS dance community is essential for dancers: young, old, freelance, professional, amateur and companies etc. It doesn’t only serve and create in the Netherlands, but around the globe. They have to stay, please!

I come from Taiwan,I’m a professional freelance dancer based in the Netherlands.I danced at HJS for 5years already. I always go to HJS to practice with all of great dancers among the world since 5 years ago. HJS has offer me a place to grow and make me be a mature dance artist the dance world. I really hope that HJS could be saved in the upcoming years. And let more and more dancers who can have ability to chase dance dream at HJS.
