HJS is an important part of dance infrastructure in the Netherlands, and it contributes greatly to the quality of the professional dance environment we've got here. There is no other school or studio in the NL that offers what they do, at the price that they can. I would miss HJS very much if it closed down.

The independent dance community is always facing challenges to continue to create, develop and inspire due to limited resources and support. HJS is not only important but extremely vital to dance in the Netherlands. There have been some amazing things happen in dance in the Netherlands. It has not only been performances, but workshops, research, and training that developed both professionals and the next generation of dancers/creators. HJS must survive.

Deze studio is van levensbelang voor freelance dansers en pas afgestudeerden van school die niet gelijk een baan vinden. Iedere wereldstad met een groot cultureel aanbod heeft een studio nodig waar dansers in training kunnen blijven om audities te kunnen doen om een baan te vinden voor op de grote podia in Nederland, musicals, dans projecten van allerlei soort en vorm. We willen toch graag meedoen met de rest van de wereld en een wereldstad zijn....nou daar horen dit soort dingen ook bij.
