Henny Jurriëns, i.c. de Stichting welke zijn naam draagt, had onderhand wel eens tot ons cultureel erfgoed mogen worden benoemd! Wat deze man wel niet voor de ontwikkeling van de dans, en in het bijzonder de klassieke dans heeft betekend, is onmiskenbaar groot.

We need the studio open to keep the freelance scene alive in Amsterdam... One the best training center for professional dancers through all Europe !

I had the privilege of participating in the 2019 Summer Workshop Series. The resources that this center offers are invaluable to dancers in Europe and beyond (I am in the US), and I would feel devastated if HJS was forced to stop these activities.

I used to dance a lot at HJS, its a place with dance classes of a very high quality, with really good teachers and a great place for dancers from all over the world to keep in shape and to stay “updated” about the dance forms which come up. Hjs is a really warm place to be, there is a positive and stimulating atmosphere and it feels like one big community which invite and inspires people to share, have fun and the most important to share our biggest passion: dance...
