I have never drunk at the Happy Hour but I would hate to see a Community, much loved pub turned into something like expensive flats.

The Happy Hour pub was my dad's (Bill Brown) local he was in there all the time. We had some good times in the pub growing up and although my dad sadly passed away years ago my mum, my sister, myself and our families still go there sometimes for dinner an every time it always reminds me of my dad. It will be the end of an era for me and sad to say the least. .

This is the hub of the Community, to remove the pub will then isolate the older people who use this as a regular basis to meet, I basically grew up around the pub and have had many happy times there & I strongly believe it would be a massive mistake to close the doors

Don't shut down the pub it's not right for the pub to close its part of the part of the community and it's not right what about if young kids who go to the park need the toilet and what if it's raining and fancy a spot of lunch think about the people!!!

This is a true Community local pub that many would say is a lifeline for the older generation local to the area who I fear for once the pub is closed, simply because it’s where they all still meet up with like minded friends. If this is taken away, where will they go? It’s a crying shame.
