City of Culture 2017 should fight for our heritage

save money other ways dont close this turn lights off at the guildhall and other places there is lots of ways to save money not hitting the public museums think again city of culture

The cultural and educational significance of museums such as this should never be overlooked, nor should the impact on our communities and societies. The elitist upper- echelons on one hand argue that the general public are an uneducated and uncultured lot and with the other hand take away our public art, public learning resources and our access to our history. Cultural distruction on a par with burning books.

This is a very educational museum, it will be such a shame if it closed. Why would a city of culture close a museum as great as this?

I think it is one of the best museums in Hull, the children really enjoy themselves

This is false economy as would give a negative image of Hull just when it is improving with the wind farm works and the city of culture.

Doing a good thing to help the poor doesn't make eviscerating their history a good thing. Do the right thing here, save the museum.
