I grow up in Grapeville my father and his 14 siblings also grow up here l still live here. This park as far back as I can remember this park has always been a big part of the people who live here. I feel it's wrong to sell something that so many people have enjoyed it.

Kids need softball/baseball fields...they need them to keep them out of trouble, they need them to teach them skills that they will use the rest of their lives! They need them for their health physical and mental! We as adults need to do anything in our power to give kids today (kids that are forced to grow up to fast) a safe place to play, learn and be a part of something!

I have seen such a tremendous turn around at that field in the past couple years. It is well-maintained, a lot better shape for the children to play and a great place for family and friends to get together after a long hard week to blow off steam and enjoy time of Fellowship with one another. Please save this field it means a lot to so many people in the community and surrounding areas.

The ballfield needs to stay in the hands of the people of Grapeville and should not be one persons decision to make. It was sold to the town over 50 years ago , if you allow the sale of the ballfield then you open the door for them to sale other landmarks so before you allow that to happen. Save the ballfield
