I grew up playing their. We keep taking things for our kids to do and wonder why they resort to drugs. We have to keep the things out predisessors kept for us. Even back in the day when things were extremely hard had nobody had absolutely nothing we had our fields.

I'm getting old & can't play anymore, bit sportswise baseball was My favorite. With all of the drugs todsy, kids need more recreation. Selling the field to support alcohol is so wrong. From T-ball to Legion Ball, I have been supportive. Save the field for the kids.

The fire department should informed and requested input from the community and surrounding land owners. The fire department is funded by the township and community and had no right to do this without input.

I imagine maintaining the ballfield and facilities is costly and frustrating when vandalized. I understand why they'd want to sell, but what a tremendous loss to the entire community. Perhaps establish a volunteer ballfield committee to manage and maintain the place alleviating much of the responsibilities from the fire department. The days of GV firehall carnivals, fireworks, and mud wrestling are long gone. the days of haunted houses at the ballfield pavilion are long gone. Let this be the catalyst to return the ballfield to it's intended community space purposes .

The ball field has been an important part of our family for the last 60 years.I took our sons there many many times to walk, swing, fly kites and just enjoy nature. It is very disappointing to hear that the field is up for sale. The decision to proceed with the sale needs to be made by the citizens of Grapeville. I, for one and my family are totally against selling it.

I have lived in Grapeville all my life, and have used and enjoyed this park in different ways through the years from the time when I was a boy. I would sure hate to see it sold.

I loved having that ball field as kid and even more when my own children were able to use it. It’s a terrible idea to sell the ball field.

Recreation is needed in every community. The youth and adults need this field not just for activity but also socialization.

This park needs to stay as a park for the community. It’s been being taken care of by volunteers not the fire department. Let’s save this for the future kids in this community. Please bloke the sale of this park
