If you think that the Eagle of the Graf Spee must be put in a museum, sign this petition.
The Graf Spee was a German
cruiser that fought in the Atlantic during WW2.
The
ship's commander ordered the ship to be scuttled to prevent it from
falling into English hands near Montevideo, Uruguay..
The
ship had a bronze eagle on the bow, that was recovered in 2006. the
eagle weighs 350 kg and has a wingspan of 2.8 meters.
The
future of the eagle is uncertain, it risks even to be destroyed since
it's a Nazi Symbol.
I think it should be put in a museum,
like all historical finds.
