The Graduate School facility is vital for students doing there Masters and PhD's. Closing this facility will most likely effect the overall enrollment of the University, is that what they really want or need.

The Graduate School serves as the only place on campus where Post Grad Students from all the different dsiciplines and courses can meet, socialize and study. It serves as a haven on a campus where all activities and venues cater for the younger,undergrad corwd. The manner in which the decision to close the graduate school to PG students was arrived and communicated gives the impression that PG students' opinions and thoughts on the matter do not warrant any consideration. That we are considered dispensable.

The resources were stretched when I was an undergrad. How post grads are meant to function competing for resources with undergrads is beyond me.
I also think it's incredibly oppressive to block the URL to the petition from the email system.

Spaces in the University is already very limited, thus students were expecting the University to offer them more to conduct their study rather than close the graduate school. Moreover, if people in charge at the University believes that they should consult the student in this matter, it is rightly to consult the student first and the decision should come after, this is how i think things should go.
