We are looking for your support to help save the Goose Lake Trail in Scandia, MN.
There is a current proposal to the Scandia City Council on June 21st, 2022 to abandon a Public Nature Trail Easement, in order to benefit a private land developer. This is a quiet half mile pedestrian walk, from Oren Ave, through the woods to access a secluded shore on Goose Lake.
This easement was given to the people of Scandia 20 years ago for the benefit of the community and for future generations of Scandia to enjoy. Please help us to preserve this treasure before it is lost.

We need to keep our nature trails and not be taken away for someone else's business profit.
My family and myself use this trail a lot. Its a beautiful walk with a quiet, serene environment. The trail is lovely with natural plants.

We need to preserve all our natural parks and walkways for the enjoyment of the people.

The reason we bought this property is because of walking access to the lake. We enjoy walking the nature trail with our grandkids. We do not want to lose it and want to keep the trail in the future for our kids.
