In any other city this building would have been renovated years ago.

There are so few historical buildings in Lubbock left. The destruction of an early building to make room for the High School addition was tragic. We must preserve our heritage now before it is too late. Once this is gone, it is gone forever and future generations will wonder how we could allow this too happen.

The St Mary of the Plains Hospital provided essential medical care for Lubbock and the surrounding community at a critical time in the development of the area. It was a forerunner to the medical center that Lubbock is today. As the Godbold, fine arts and fine dining have provided a community focus and service. Save the Godbold.

Without history, we would not be here. Work the existing building which is historical and beautiful!

Too much past is being sacrificed for "progress". Leave this beautiful building intact.

Cafe J is one of the only places near campus that cater to a crowd who prefers a more laid back and high quality atmosphere. The staff, the audience, and the location all serve to make J's a go-to spot for many. Please keep it going!

It would be a crime to tear down the Goldbold Center. Lubbock doesn't have many beautiful public buildings. We need to save what we have.

Without landmarks to guide our memories, history is destined to repeat itself and not in good ways.
