If Fandom had problems with pages on a wiki, it should have dealt with those pages individually rather than deleting an entire wiki with almost 10 thousand pages with only 2 weeks notice. I urge Fandom to reverse this decision, especially at a time when trans people are increasingly under attack. There is no other reason to delete an entire wiki when even Fandom stated the actual issues were with just a few pages. Furthermore, I find it unprofessional and hateful to have expressed the opinion that "gender identities have gone too far" in an official complaint. Trans people, their allies, and any community that supports freedom of information on the internet should not support Fandom wikis until this decision is rightfully reversed.

We don't need the wiki to shut down, especially when transgender day of visibility has just happened and things are quickly worsening for transgender people. All very few explanations given are either queerphobia or were already being worked on. If any normal user sees this, genuinely consider a complete boycott against FANDOM and use any alternatives over it (the indie wiki buddy extension can help) and spread the word. It's happened once, it's about to happen again, and it'll happen after this if we let it.
