It is a shame that the Government of New Brunswick would rather spend the money to tear down a piece of History and replace it with a temporary fix !!!! And to boot spend over double for that Temporary fix than to spend the least amount of money and have a bridge that the people and tourists alike can enjoy for another 50-60-100 years just like the one that they are so quick to tear down...SHAME SHAME on the New Brunswick Government....all you want to do is spend !!!!!!

This bridge needs to be saved - it represents a part of our history! The covered bridges are a big part of why NB was known as the picture province! Don't let it continue to be known as the drive thru province! If the govt truly wants people 'to be in this place' they need to take care of our covered bridges!

Why is the Provincial Govt. trying so hard to ruin our tourist industry and our heritage. We have lost a lot of covered bridges in the past and its time to refresh, renew, and maintain these bridges as well as some of our heritage buildings. Our forests are going the way of the dodo bird as well.Soon all we will have is mud holes, with modern buildings, no birds, bees or animals .As a govt you are destroying our province. Bridges are another step down the slippery slope
