Save this bridge .. AND any covered bridges that need repair. They are a part of our province's charm and history.

This bridge is part of NB history and it should be fixed up not replaced. We lose enough old things already, no need to tear down one of the last covered bridges left.

My grandfather used to talk about covered bridges all the time, they mean something to people here. This one should be repaired and kept for the next generation.

Please save the French Village bridge, its a beautiful piece of our province and once its gone its gone forever. A Bailey bridge wont bring back the charm or the history.

I grew up around that bridge ,my family has roots around that bridge (mother side of the family). This bridge is one of the last remaining long covered bridges left. Why do we always try to get rid of history ?For once I would hope to think that the goverment would see this. Too many historic buildings in saint john have came down ,lets not do this to this historical bridge .It is sad to think "the easy way out is alwasys the best" ,Lets save this bridge.

It's a part of our history here in Nb , the government would be foolish to get rid of any of these bridges especially considering companies have come forward with less expensive solutions to fixing these bridges while still preserving them

The thrill of driving through one of these honking the horn and making a wish - I agree - part of NB history and heritage. Please do everything possible to preserve.

The last free standing covered bridge in the province should not be removed. That is just crazy to me, there has to be a way to preserve it and still make it safe.

I grew up playing under this bridge with my siblings and grandparents, the last thing I want is to see it taken away.

Love covered bridges and the cost to preserve is 1/4 the cost for the cold concrete steel one they want to put there ... and only 6 weeks to do....

I drove by there lots of times and always thought what a nice old bridge. These covered bridges are what New Brunswick is known for, not more steel and concrete.
