I drive past here everyday with my son to go to his secondary school & we always discuss how lovely the building is & how it should be used. Don't knock it down, it's beautiful!!

We should look to renovate not demolish such beautiful granite buildings which keep in line with the Cornish country side.

Nooooo don't bulldoze it. It's history. We'll have nothing left of the original St Austell soon. Isn't history important anymore?

Our community in st Austell would benefit from.a Community Centre rather than more houses. Theres very little for children to do what about a Youth Project?

Keep the building, would be perfect for a youth club or some kind of centre for children / teenagers to hang out. Do not knock down a part of history just to put up more ugly flats!

My eldest went to this school and the location really is not good for more new homes. Really needs to be kept for a community centre or similar as we lack this in St Austell.

An iconic building which touched the lives of at least six generations in what was, for the most part, a fairly remote Clay Village. Some effort must be made to preserve at least some of the original structure

Rather than build more houses in an already over populated area it would be wonderful to see this historic building restored and used by the local community.
