A building of this age and with such history must be preserved and used in a way that will benefit the community!! Fond memories of my childhood attending this school!

Do not knock it down! We do not need anymore f'ing houses in this area! The premises needs to be recommissioned to something useful like a kids club and I'm sure the local community would help run it if giving the chance!

Enough new buildings have taken up Carclaze already. This beautiful old site should be preserved.

A stunning Cirnish building and part of our heritage. Keep the main building and demolish the ugly additions.

Why not use it as a doctors surgery to help cope with the extra residents all the new houses are creating. The play area at the back could be car parking.

This is a beautiful old building and part of the history of the town. To demolish it would be criminal.

People living in St Austell must proactively identify special buildings and get them listed before this happens elsewhere. The town has a shocking record of demolishing its history and character.

Too many old buildings being demolished instead of restored - soon there will be no character or visual history left to share with younger generations.

Once again Cornwall County Council has allowed a beautiful old building to deteriorate and become an eyesore rather than allow it to be put to good use. To demolish it would be shameful.

Please save this wonderful old building; it's history of service deserves better than neglect and unnecessary decay. It served generations of children in this community, including my children. It has a history, let it have a future!!

This beautiful building should be kept and redeveloped into work units or flats.

There are so many children that need to be schooled and locals so st Austell are being sent to par and told their child can have a taxi to get there it's disgusting to expect this for one thing and to close a school when we have more coming into the country

Why must it go? Can it not be converted? So many of our old buildings are disappearing. I personally didn't go there ,but my mum and her two brothers did.
