Really heartbroken and disappointed, The Following was my favorite show. Why wasn't Joe included in the ending? I get that this was supposed to be a season finale not a series finale at the time of the filming but there was no closure to the storyline of joe as a hallucination. It would've been cool to see Ryan and joe walking out at the end of the episode to go after the new organization of killers. Joe was such a HUGE part of this show. He should have been waiting for Ryan outside the hospital as he walked away.What a bad ending to a great series. I can't believe it ended the way it did. The actors and fans deserved better. Excellent show, with great characters, and awesome actors and the brilliant Kevin Bacon, Can't believe they left it like that. He should have gone back to Max, Mike, and the girlfriend for some closure and happiness in his life, BUT, like he said to Max in the car, he will never live a happy life.So he's going to let them believe that he is dead just to make sure he kills off anybody that threatens him or his loved ones. Well it does kind of leave space for more episodes. For Netflix or any other channel to pick up.If Ryan went in the room, I would have been happy with that ending, but everyone thinks he's dead and is heart broken. Glad to see Ryan alive but sad that his family doesn't know it!! I know that is to keep them safe, I thought It was so sad!! I wanted Ryan to be happy at the end. There's no way they can let it end with Ryan walking out of the hospital about to hunt down Eliza. It will be back.That ending left us wanting more. They set it up perfectly for at least one more season. if they had done a season 4 I would've liked to see Ryan the vigilante. Fox is really stupid to cancel this show! Please some network rescue this show and give us at least another season. The fans need a season 4...Ryan gets his revenge and finally gets his personal freedom..a happy ending with a twist..he was always helping Joe..final shot season 4 would

Only show I actually watch on it's air night. Seems my viewing doesn't count in ratings because I get in late from work, so it's recorded. But everyone I know who watches this show has to record it. The demographics cover 20's thru 70's. Never knew we don't count in ratings. Please bring this show back. Kevin Bacon is awesome. the writing has been fantastic. Next season is set up. The Punisher, meets Profiler, Burn Notice, Rubicon. Really want to know how high up it goes, and who's the puppeteer up there. and then watch Bacon knock 'em down. Come on! Someone pick this up!!
