I thought the show was very captivating with its philosophical approach to life and death through Edgar Allen Poe. The first and second season seemed to be similar in their struggles with Joe Carrol. I mean, he escaped so many times, really?!?! Anyway, the story continues to surprise and create fantastic character development for the viewers to resonate. Each character goes through their own demons. I was super disappointed when they cancelled the fourth season. They could definitely finish it with a fourth and final season, because they left the third with such suspense and so many questions at the end.
