This can't close! A favourite amongst so many locals. Network Rail - pay for your mistakes; don't put a wonderful lady out of business.

This seems an unnecessary and unwanted solution to NR's problem - there are alternatives which should be pursued.

A well established local business, with many loyal customers. We need and want independent traders in our community.

This is a much loved local business, run by Elaine who is an active member of the local community, trying everyday to contribute in her way to making it a nice place to live and shop. I am appalled once again at network rail. It shows a total lack of interest for the local communities. They have already displaced many long-established local businesses (remember Stardust, or the butcher) who will never be able to return. The same happening in Brixton. Despicable. I am going to contact the local councillors and MP in the hope they may take an interest.

Elaine is part of our community. This vibrant little store enlivens the public space at the station. It totally unsuitable as a place for a substation!

There must be an alternative space somewhere in the station.

A totally indispensable local and community asset. Elaine (The Flower Lady ) doesn’t just sell flowers ...she’s a well known local character and looks out for the local community ....

Unbelievable how network rail are one by one getting rid of the original Railton Road local businesses in Herne Hill .
Elaine is part of our community and station square would not look or be the same without her shop and plants in the corner.

If Network Rail made mistakes during the construction work of the other parts of Railton Road, then THEY must be the ones to correct it and pay the price - not the flower lady!! This little shop is a treasure to Herne Hill and is one of the quirks of living in this great part of London! The staff there are so helpful and I would be sad to see this shop go, and I for one am in full support of it staying. Let’s make them listen and fight them all the way! All the best!
