Please do not cut these programs. Many of my students depend on them, and I’ve seen first hand how they positively change students lives!

The pandemic means that we need to *increase* funding for public high school programs, not cut them!

As we wrap up the craziest spring semester ever and turn our attention towards the fall, we can't ask the education community to do more with less. This fall, our students will need more services, not service reductions. Keep LACER at Marshall High!

Now is not the time to defund things that are necessary, like after school programs. Students need after school programs to he more active, more involved, and for many students, it’s their only chance to attend to activities. So please, do not defund after school programs. Students NEED this.

Lacer is a vital part of Marshall High school. They’ve created a community and unity with the resources they have given us after school. Please Save Lacer not only for Marshall but for all 5 schools that are on this list!

This program has helped me throughout my years and it would be such a waste for it to go because I know a lot of other students will love it as will

After school programs are important tools to support kids and families all over the city of L.A. Without ASPs parents can't consistently go to work and perform their essential duties and financially support their families. Please fully fund these ASPs!

This is how we nurture our future. We can't be so selfish to allocate funding somewhere without planning ahead. Our society depends on this. It depends on us. Please do not deteriorate this blossoming cycle.
