After school programs are Vital in students learning experiences. Very many students do not have the support they need or resources that they need in their own homes and after school programs provide that for them. For many students after school programs provide successful experiences in learning, So taking that away is a huge disservice for all students who really count on it.

After school programs change our youth for the better. Now, more than ever, our youth needs guidance for a better future. After school programs are a necessary part of education! I've seen this with my own students as I have been an educator for an after school program for the past 15 years! Please do not end our funding!

I know afterschool works because in the years that I’ve lead programs with youth, I am privileged to seem them 5-10 years down the line and they can recall how our program shaped their future.
