The lacer after school program was a vital resource for the majority of Marshall students. They not only provided homework help, a safe place for students to stay after school, and food for those in after school programs and the students who relied on it, but it also brought the Marshall community together. Please do not cut the funding for such an extraordinary program that was filled with people who truly cared for the students well being and really assured us that no dream is too big.

I have been a part of LACER/YPI for all 4 years of high school. Even in middle school. After school programs like these are IMPORTANT. It kept me motivated and sane throughout the years. LACER provided me an outlet when I had no where else to go. It’s important that students have safe places like these to go to.
