- Hello, we are the members of JAG drama club. Better known as the Spotlights. We are a theatre club who has , for soon to be 2 years now been constantly involved in the school and performing and providing entertainment for the school and its students. However, the level of respect and support we get from the staff does not show the effort and work we put in. We fight everyday just to simply have a rehearsal. Recently, our head of staff has first tried to cut after school rehearsals for all our fine arts programs with the exception of sports. Now, she has stated that all fine arts programs once again , with the exception of sports, will be cut on Mondays and Fridays. She has minimized our rehearsals to three days a week, for only 2 hours. Anyone who participates in any sort of activity like Band or theatre knows how 2 hours is nothing. All we are asking is for signatures in support of us and the other programs at JAG, who get treated poorly and their light is dimmed by favoritism of the sports.
