All nature is important .
Many of these house builders have planning permission else where but are holding on to it . Brown field sites should be built on first .

This is a beautiful park and the playground with its location and space is a precious jewel. Why would you commercialize it and increase traffic congestion? Have you been here to experience the rightness and value of this area along with all the other variables?

We wish to send a message to the Scottish Reporter . Our local people want no greenbelt build. Our council have ruled against this unnecessary use of green field space for building .There is plenty of reusable space locally ...also brownfield to be used for these houses. We note that in common with our campaign to "Stop the europark development" (Facebook site),peoples wishes are being ignored by our government. I encourage all who love the places which give us mental and physical health ..to sign this and let developers know to stay out of the North Lanarkshire area. United all our communities can let the Reporter know our will.

This is a lovely field and should be left as it is for local people to enjoy. The fact that houses may go up here is a completely idiotic decision and should not go ahead! How many houses does there need to be? Let people enjoy some green spaces for a change!

This land is the only assessable green space for the residents of drumpellier lawns as our estate lies between a railway line and a dual carriageway. Children and families use this field for both SAFE access & recreation. This space is also a very well used area for dog excersise and play. All in a safe area away from the busy road. The play areas within the estate are limited to 8 years and under .We are also concerned about the safety of our children bringing additional vehicle traffic to our estate and our cycle community alreadyr cyclling to and from the cycle path.

With the amount of new buildings in this area,it will soon be a smog filled concrete mass. We need more not less green space.

The field is a vital part of our community. The kids use it to camp, sled in the winter and general messing about, its home to deer, foxes, rabbits and all sorts of other creatures and birds.

From a driver's point of view (No2 Airdrie-Faifley bus), I can't help but feel deprived of 'greenbelt' FOR those resident in Bargeddie, Coatbridge or beyond. That is given what precious little G/B exists between Bargeddie and Baillieston.

I support save the field. There are enough houses in Drumpellier Lawns. No more building. We need to keep some green space and it is such a pleasure to drive past the beautiful trees and greenery.

Save our green belt which was not meant for development and would ruin the beauty of this area.

appalled at the thought of builder building houses at the start of the estate, if permission is granted my house will be put on the market. Not putting up with the disruption and having to take my dog in the car to another park to stretch his legs.
Better places available.
