SAVE THE FIELD - PROTECT EDINBURGH’S GREENBELT!

I strongly object against the given proposal. There are insufficient amenities to cope with the proposed increase in housing; the proposed site floods every year and we all know what happens in the long run when developers ignore nature and more importantly we should be committing to using brown field sites before we destroy more of our precious green belt.

Too many unsightly new build developments without infrastructure to cope.

I strongly oppose the development of this land.

The city is loosing green space to quickly with no additional infrastructure for all the new builds appearing, services are at breaking point. There are plenty brownfield sites still to be used.

I’m a local resident . Already Frogston Road cannot cope with the traffic as it is currently, so how can it cope with an extra 400 families. Where do the children of these families go to school locally and which GP practice has space?

I believe that building on the field is unnecessary and unjustified, there is no good reason for building more house and this new construction was not in the 2030 city plan. If this plan goes through, it would mean that many wildlife that live there and around the area would be driven away due to the disturbance on the workers and then the residents living there. If the houses where to erect it would only be an unfavourable decision with no pros and only cons

Where is the infrastructure to support such an extensive development? Schools are over subscribed at the moment, roads currently insufficent to cope with traffic, residents of area already have problems finding doctors, dentist’s etc with significant increases in population being planned, traffic jams, increases in pollution and reduction in habitats for local wildlife will be a huge issue. This area must be preserved as a conservation area. Please note my strong objection to this building application being given.

I strongly object to any building application being made on greenbelt land beside Frogston Road. Greenbelt land should remain such for wildlife conservation and environmental reasons - these fields provide much needed habitats for local wildlife and so should remain protected. There is also insufficient investment in local infrastructure - schools, transport, GP practices, shops and leisure facilities to support associated increase in population which would lead to more pressure on already overcrowded schools, traffic jams and greater air pollution levels. Please note my strong objection to this building application on these grounds.

Oppose this plan due to: - Even Less access to essential services like GP appointments, Dentist appointments and Primary School Places. - Even more congestion on Frogston Road and the surrounding area, resulting in poorer public transport and road conditions. - Poorer air quality -The destruction of important and protected greenbelt land

Frogston road cannot accommodate the flow of traffic already! Keep the green places green!

This is greenbelt - simple as. Leave it alone. We need space in Edinburgh.

There is absolutely no need for this housing development. The wildlife, lack of school places, traffic/infrastructure can’t currently cope. Doctor surgeries, dentists are all full. Pollution. Noise pollution! City bypass ca’t cope. Many many reasons against this.

Stop taking away our green spaces! Reducing wildlife and habitats! The area is not ready for more cheaply built houses

This is greenbelt land. If allowed to build on this field there is no hope for the rest of our greenbelt.

I protest against this. Greed ! We have to many cars on this road, pollution, not enough schools, doctors, dentists you name it ! Congestion will be terrible. We do not need these houses.
