The land is so rich in wildlife, birds, hares etc. Also the road is already a busy road with no other exits. At times fully congested. The GP parctices, schools already full. The views may be nice for a few houses, but looking at previous development most houses don't see it. By building it reduces further the area to be enjoyed by Edinburgh residents and tourists.

The views of the pentlands will be gone, the traffic is already at a stand still if there is an accident on the bypass, the schools are full to capacity, Dr’s and dentists full not taking on new patients, straiton retail park 5 mins from the proposed houses and shops so no need for even more shops in the local area to add to the traffic jam. This is a protected green belt, please keep it this way and use alternatives brown sights. Numbers can be met without this build. The bus route is also at capacity especially during rush hour in the morning and evenings. There is very little green space left in the area after the water board sight was built on and the new housing development next to the proposed sight was built. 100% objection.

It would considerably increase congestion given we are situated near a busy by-pass. It would put more pressure on GPs and dental surgeries .
Lack of infrastructure in the area like schools and shops is already discouraging people to move into the area. Building more houses on a designated green belt does not make any sense.

Adding more houses to an already struggling area with very little infrastructure is madness!! I have lived in the area for 2 years and my dentist and doctors are over 4 miles away from my house, I applied for my daughter to get into frogston nursery but was rejected and can only imagine how hard it will be for her to get into frogston prinary school and high school close by if this happens! Kaimes crossroads is an absolute nightmare at times with traffic and the state of the road with all the traffic means it’s crumbling and adding more houses is going to cause more congestion on surrounding areas and the bypass. I paid a fortune for a house in this area because of the location and that we are surrounded by some greenery but that will all be gone if planning goes ahead! Common sense needs to lead rather than greed from the developer!!

There is no planning to support infrastructure around such a development. Roads already struggle with congestion, doctors, dentists, schools are already struggling with overcrowding.
