As a parent who has taught her children the meaning of the flag and how to properly treat her, I am in 100% support of Matt's action. He'd have done the same if he were not working at the time and should not be punished that his Patriotism was called to action while he happened to be at work. It's a 24/7 job and I'm proud that he did not hesitate. I will NEVER send or accept another FedEx package if he loses his job over this.

You should be commended for having an employee of principle. He didn't assault anyone, but protected himself and his values. I for one applaud his efforts instead of being a bystander.
