I do not feel that it would be appropriate to terminate this person's employment for intervening in an effort to stop the burning of the United States flag. I understand you may have policies in place, but he was exercising his own free speech AND considering he is a veteran of the military he spent time in war defending that right.

FedEx: I support your employees actions and you should as well! This man did the RIGHT thing. This isn't about company policy. It's about standing up for the American flag and what it stands for. If you fire this man your company is just as bad as those who burned the American flag. Take a stand for America!!!
