FedEx courier Matt Uhrin of the Iowa City, Iowa area, and the recent incident of "protestors" burning multiple USA flags, at the "Pedestrian Mall' on appx. 1/26/2017, exhibited patriotic actions that exemplify in large part WHAT IS GOOD ABOUT AMERICA. He should in no way have his FedX employment status, current pay rate, or current station assignment jeopardized as a result of the actions he took to quell ARSON being committed bt "protestors" whom couldn't even be bothered to obtain the protest event permit (s) for their demonstration, and whose actions of burning our country's national flag are also forbidden under federal statute.
The country is watching, Mr. Fred Smith and FedX Boards of Directors, etc. -- the country is watching, as are businesses, corporations, and FedX customers ranging from small to huge.
Please do the "right thing" by Mr. Uhrin and do not even contemplate terminating or demoting his employment or employee status.

I was hired by FEDEX in Chicago over 30 years ago and continue to work with FEDEX in North Central Ohio and it makes me proud to know that we have employees who love Old Glory enough and realizes the sacrifices it represents and who has the intestinal fortitude to intervene and stop the burning and desecration of the Flag that flies over this Great Nation that we love....THANK YOU SIR!!!
