He did the right thing, even though our culture today seems to want to punish people for standing up for our flag, which is really sad, he deserves to keep his job. I have several family members who served in the military from WW2 to Vietnam, and my own husband, who served in Desert Storm, there are some things you just do not do as a respectful American, and burning our flag is one of them.
