Dear Fed Ex,
Please do not penalize an employee for having the conviction to stand up for the symbol of his country. He did not try to stop these persons from protesting, but simply prevented them from desecrating the symbol of our nation. It is quite obvious to anyone who watches the video of the incident that he is acting on his own behalf and that he is not trying to infer that Fed Ex is for or against the protesters.

Fed Ex: This young man is an American Patriot. He should have an award for protecting the US Flag. Fire him and there will never be another delivery for me by Fed Ex. Keep him and praise him and I will use Fed Ex only.
