Matt Gaetz has created a bill, (H.R. 861) that will terminate the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency.) This bill is set to go into action December 31st, 2018. The EPA sets environmental regulations to keep our earth healthy. This year I am doing a Civics project in school. My goal is to prevent the termination of the EPA. Terminating the EPA will affect the whole world. There will be fewer regulations on how much large factories can emit into the atmosphere. There will also be fewer regulations on pesticides. There will be little to no regulations on many other things that can hurt our environment. This will cause our earth to be even unhealthier than it already is and global warming could become a larger issue. Signing this petition shows that you support the EPA.
